Western New York’s Largest Facilities Management Trade Show Returns and Celebrates 25th Year

Hamburg, NY – After taking a year off due to COVID restrictions, The WNY Facilities Management Expo will be returning this year on Wednesday, October 20th at the Event Center on the Hamburg Fairgrounds, 5829 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, NY 14075, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. In doing so, the event is celebrating its 25^th year to add even further excitement for the post-covid return.

This event is the largest trade show of its kind in the region, including Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.

This event is again seeing many first-time exhibitors as well as many regulars who have been showcasing the latest and greatest in facilities maintenance products, equipment, and services for many years.

“We are happy to be back this year! Our unique trade show brings buyers and sellers together in a dynamic environment to learn about new products, compare prices and see hands-on goods, equipment, and demos,” says Nancy Boyd Haley, Show Manager for the Facilities Management Expo. “With the safety and well-being of our attendees and the community in mind, we are working closely with The Event Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds to ensure sanitation procedures and other preventive measures are in place. These safety measures will be updated based on current CDC recommendations and any Erie County & state mandates.”

Admission is free to anyone responsible for any facet of building management. This includes property owners, contractors, facility engineers, building owners and superintendents, property managers, plant operations, purchasing agents, maintenance supervisors, realtors, developers, remodelers, and any managerial staff.

Attendees will also enjoy show-price discounts and incentives, in addition to in-person information and demonstrations from event vendors.

A wide range of industry-related services will be on-site to help fulfill the multiple needs of facility maintenance. 24th Annual Western New York Facilities Management Hits New Records

Hamburg, NY – The 24th Annual WNY Facilities Management Expo was held on Wednesday, October 23^rd 2019 at the Event Center on the Hamburg Fairgrounds, 5829 South Park Avenue, Hamburg NY 14075. The event is extremely unique in nature, as it specializes in business-to-business showcasing, particularly for facility or campus management. This is the largest trade show of its kind in the region, which includes Western New York, and North Eastern Pennsylvania. This year the event saw yet another record number in both attendance and exhibitors, including over 25% of the vendors attending the expo for the first time.

A common theme among the exhibitors this year was the promotion of safety, security, sustainability and savings.

“We strive to have a lot of diversity with the exhibitors along with a wide range of products, services and new technology that is now available,” says Nancy Boyd, Director of the WNY Facilities Management Expo.

The 22nd Annual WNY Facilities Management Expo was held on Wednesday, October 18^th 2017 at the Event Center on the Hamburg Fairgrounds, 5829 South Park Avenue, Hamburg NY 14075. The event was the largest trade show of its kind in the region, which includes Western New York, and North Eastern Pennsylvania. This year the event saw record numbers in both attendance and exhibitors.

The event enjoyed a lot of first-time exhibitors, as well as many regulars who have been showcasing the latest and greatest in facilities maintenance products, equipment and services for many years. 22% of this year's participating vendors were first-time vendors. The technology showcased at this year's event was reflective of these new vendors. These included Drone demonstrations, energy savings -related technology, among several other latest and greatest products from dozens of different industries.

Attendees experienced in-person information and demonstrations from event vendors. A wide range of industry-related services were on-site to help fulfill the multiple needs of facility maintenance. 2017 FM Expo Show Date Announced

The 22nd annual Facilities Management Expo is scheduled to fill the Hamburg Fairgrounds Event Center on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Experiencing continued growth, the annual event now draws over 150 vendors offering products and services for the maintenance, management, repair and operations of all types of facilities. 21st Annual Facilities Management Expo Recap

On Thursday, October 19^th, the Events Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds hosted the 21^st Annual Facilities Management Expo. Over 500 guests explored 146 sales booths offering products and services from the facilities management and maintenance fields.

This show features some of the latest technology in the industry, including maintenance robots. Dobmeier Janitor Supply showcased Intellibott, a robotic floor scrubber. Half of the vendors exhibiting were first timers, including LawnBott Robotic Mowers and NEMH2O Robotic Pool Cleaners. Other companies in attendance included Dyson Professionals, NOCO Natural Gas & Electric, Solar Liberty, United Rentals.

In keeping with the ongoing environmental considerations throughout the U.S., green building, recycling, as well as sustainable products and services, such as solar energy and environmentally friendly cleaning products were also consistent themes throughout the show. Leidos presented a seminar discussing Energy Code Assistance Programs and how to take advantage of them.

“It’s always incredible to see all the different products and services companies offer, from companies that install office fitness centers to alarm systems,” says Nancy Boyd Haley, Show Manager for the FM Expo. “I’m looking forward to seeing what technological advancements companies will bring next year.”

Since its inception, The FM Expo has grown into a heavily trafficked event, reaching vendors and attendees in an array of industries, from education, commercial buildings and hospitality to industrial plants and healthcare institutions. It’s the most comprehensive facility and maintenance management trade show in the region, which includes Western New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania. Similar trade shows are devoted to single industries (i.e., safety, electrical, etc.); the FM Expo essentially combines all of these subcategories into one.
